According to Parlamentario, Martín Berhongaray, a MP for the Radical Civic Union Party, the second largest party in parliament and part of the Coalition for Change, has called for the government’s crypto policy.
The request to government to respond policies of energy and environmental, finances and taxes has been formed by taking into account the existence of the phenomenon of cryptocurrencies. It also wants to know what measures are being taken in relation to excess energy, such as crypto mining, if the implementation of regulatory policies or courses of action has been evaluated regarding financial, tax or safety issues.
However, it was noted that most crypto buyers and sellers prefer to transact in stable US dollar coins such as Tether (USDT).
