Unification: The company working on the Shiba Inu Shibarium layer-2 development announced that the Public Beta TestNet would launch in Q3. Unification published a blog post today headed by Maziar Sadri and states that the public TestNet will allow other parties to interact with the network. “The Public Beta TestNet will allow parties to fully interact with the network, including the validation process,” Sadri said.
The blog post also reveals that the Shibarium private TestNet has been active and operational for several weeks. Developers are building many relevant tools on the network ahead of the public beta TestNet release.
Shiba Inu investors will soon get a glimpse of Shibarium during the public beta TestNet in the coming months to better understand the network.
The recently released Medium blog post dives into the specification of Shibarium. This wallet will allow two-way asset transfers between Ethereum and Shibarium, alongside staking and delegating, before ShibaSwap integration. The team working on “the primary tool under heavy development is the wallet application,” said Sadri in the blog.
The ‘wallet’ will be a two-way asset transfer between Ethereum and Shibarium. The wallet will also feature staking and delegating before the ShibaSwap 2.0 integration.
“The Shibarium Public Beta TestNet is planned for deployment in Q3,” read the blog. It continued, “The public Beta TestNet will allow parties to fully interact with the network, including the validation process.”
Shiba Inu: Shibarium Public TestNet & ‘Burn’ Mechanism
The blog published by Unification sheds no light on the in-built ‘burn mechanism’ on the Shibarium network. However, considering this is only the Public TestNet phase, the team could fully announce the ‘burn mechanics’ when the entire Shibarium network is ready for launch.
However, we will have to wait and watch for an official confirmation from the SHIB team regarding its release. At press time, Shiba Inu was trading at $0.00001038 and was up 1.3% in the past 24 hours. However, it was down 88% from its all-time high of $0.00008616.
